These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and Services (collectively, the “Services”), including purchasing, viewing, or interacting with our products. Maison Alfombra operates this online store powered by Shopify. All purchases, inquiries, and transactions through our store are governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the latest revision at the top.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, please note the following:

  • Color Variations:
    Each rug is handmade, and slight variations in color, texture, or pattern may occur due to the artisanal process and natural materials used. These variations are not considered defects but rather part of the unique character of each piece.

  • Photography Disclaimer:
    Product colors may appear different depending on your device screen, lighting conditions, and image resolution. Maison Alfombra cannot guarantee that the colors displayed on your monitor will exactly match the actual product.

  • Measurements:
    As rugs are handcrafted, minor differences in size (up to 5%) may occur.

3. Rug Care and Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your rug:

  • Vacuum gently and regularly without using a beater bar.

  • Rotate your rug every few months to maintain even wear.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

  • Clean spills immediately with a dry, absorbent cloth — do not rub.

  • Professional cleaning is recommended every 12–18 months.

Maison Alfombra is not responsible for damage caused by improper cleaning or handling after delivery.

4. Orders and Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices or correct errors at any time without notice.

Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed. We may cancel or refuse any order for reasons such as product unavailability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are specified at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

We are not liable for delivery delays due to customs processing, carrier issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused rugs in their original packaging.
Custom or made-to-order rugs are non-returnable.
For international returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, graphics, and logos — is the property of Maison Alfombra and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any materials without prior written consent.

Maison Alfombra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or purchase of products. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
